Acne Studios "Trash" Backpack

Swedish Acne Studios always gives good surprises, such as this unique looking “Trash” Backpack.

Okay. Maybe it’s not that unique because drawstring backpack has been around for a very long time, but this is the first time I’ve seen a bucket bag – or more accurately, a bucket + backpack hybrid – that looks very classy without feeling like you’re hitting the beach or the gym with the bag. The shape of this bag is just stunning.

Made of canvas, suede and leather, this bag features adjustable straps with Palladium hardware. It comes with protective leather feet, linen canvas lining and minimal Acne Studios branding. The bag is also available in 2 other colors.

Given the shape, it might feel weird to carry a 13″ laptop (or anything flat and wide) in it, but it’s not, because it’s not really in a perfect rounded shape. The volume of the bag is big enough for every use.

This unisex made-in-Italy bag is retailed at $1150 – a price that you can expect from Acne. But I do wish the price could go a little lower.
