Very Classy: Mulberry Piccadilly
Every great bag brands will have at least one or two iconic bags. In the case of Mulberry, it has to be the timeless “Bayswater” women’s bag – their most loved, best-selling and most copied bag.
The “Bayswater” family was only born in 2003 (still very young for an iconic bag) and then later, a bigger version for men – the Mulberry Piccadilly Holdall – was created. The Piccadilly is a great example of “form meets function” – it looks classy; it’s big enough for almost anything (it has internal belt straps that you can loosen up to widen the bag); it doesn’t look like a very delicate bag that will make you worry about where to put it onto (of course it has to have the quality that can handle the tossing.) It’s perfect as a travel bag, weekend bag or even an everyday bag.
Retailed at $2095, this bag is reasonably priced for its quality and timelessness in the reign of luxury bags. (But of course, I wish it could be a little cheaper.)
