15 Fashion Insiders We’re Following (and Learned Personal Style From)
They are the masters at how to have fun changing appearance with fashion, expressing most authentic self through non-conforming and unique style.
“Trends come and go – but style stays and evolves.”
That is perhaps the most important lesson one can learn from the world of fashion after having spent enough time in the industry.
I’m a firm believer of style over fashion. I’ve always loved and inspired by true fashion elites who have transcended beyond fashion rules or the need for affirmation in the form of “likes” and “followers” in today’s world. These fashion elites taught me how a person’s “function” (e.g. your purpose in life, your job, your personality) organically defines a person’s “form” (e.g. what you wear, how you wear it). They are the masters at how to have fun changing appearance with fashion, expressing the most authentic self through non-conforming and unique style.
Important note: it’s better to look “you” than to look different every time. Note #2: just don’t take yourself too seriously.
