Gucci Launches Roman-Inspired Cruise 2018 Campaign

Gucci has unveiled its latest Cruise 2018 ad campaign, which sees Alessandro Michele explored his love for Rome. The campaign, which is photographed by the legendary Mick Rock, features an eclectic cast of different personalities living in the Roman apartments and local gardens. Among them are Italian actors Alessandro Borghi and Miriam Leone, Italian film producer Ginevra Elkann and French-Italian actress Chiara Mastroianni.

“I got constant stimulation from the clothes,” Rock said in a press release. He also mentioned that Gucci‘s latest Cruise collection was “so fabulous and colourful”, as well as praising Michele‘s personality for being “an open, giving force”.

The campaign also includes a short film titled Roman Rhapsody directed by Chuck Grant and featuring a soundtrack by Arthur Russell‘s “Place I Know/Kid Like You“. Check out the video, along with the men’s lookbook below.
